I know I'm late to the party but I think I have the solution

I had this same issue. My solution was to jump into the internet@tv settings before the download update message showed up. Once there I realized the memory was completely full and deleted some unused apps to make room. When I exited the settings and returned to internet@tv the update message appeared and in less than a minute the install completed and everything was back to business as usual. I recommend trying to delete some apps so there is room for the update to install correctly. I hope this helps someone.
