I also noticed white dots appearing on my HL-T5687S TV. I contacted Samsung and they told me my TV is not covered. It is unfair that some models are covered but others are not. It seems that the cause of the failure is the same. I don't know whether I was talking to a wrong person at Samsung. Is there any other way to handle this service issue? The tracking number that Samsung assigned to my case is 2110410188.
