BD 6500 Wireless setup

Well, I read all of this. Here is the interesting part. I have a new N300 router, won't connect. It is 10ft away. Tried both Wifi, one is secure, other is not secured. Wont' connect.
Then I had a older Netgear router in the backroom, say 75ft away. No security on and it works just fine.
Guess my next trick will be the Wire setup.
I have tired most of the tricks listed, the new N300 won't connect.
