Aloha folks... I've had my LNT4665F for about 3 years now. Just after the 1.5 year mark, we started getting the startup with sound but no screen. It occurs very distinctly when the humidity is high... I can look up on a cloudy muggy day when I get home and know the TV isn't going to work.
We tried to get a repair man out once but it takes so long to get anything done (we live in Hawaii where everyone moves on 'island time') the TV is always working by the time we get an appointment.
I'm going to pursue a repair once we get back to the mainland (next summer) but in the meantime, everyone save yourself the hassle and buy a Sony. They are very proud of their work and stand by their products much more than Samsung, who doesn't have nearly as much of a customer support structure, or for that matter a reputation to uphold.
