I have been using Adaware, Spybot, Spywareblaster and Sypware Guard for several months and my computer has been clean. These applications, I ALWAYS keep up to date.

Spybot does pick up Microsoft Windows 'Exploit' weaknesses every time I scan, which is frequent, even though I have plugged these weak spots with patches, etc, where alerted, using Windows Update and Microsoft's own Baseline Security Analyzer 1.2.1, so am ALWAYS up to date.

I find that the automatic Windows Update facility and Norton Anti-Virus/Firewall, do NOT update automatically often enough. Consequently I ALWAYS carry them out manually, not wishing to take any chances.
