Yes, absolutely. You can have any number of browsers, really. I have IE and (which I never use now that I have) Firefox, both on my desktop. One doesn't load over the other. They're both seperate programs, like Doom and Quake. I always use Firefox, but the IE shortcut still sits on the desktop one click away from spyware-hell just like it did back when I didn't have Mozilla Firefox. Also, I use AdAware and Spybot weekly. With blazing fast firefox the amount of aw/sw I remove has dropped to one or two per week from the 30 or 40 I had with IE. I had to use CWShredder once, but that was the only time.
