Help with problems caused by Advanced WindowsCare V2.

I tried Advanced WindowsCare version 2 to see if it would help my computer start quicker, as suggested by one of the people on this site. It has been a nightmare.

I am using Windows XP, version 2002, service pack 3 on a Dell Dimension 8100 with 512 meg of memory. After letting this program run I didn't notice anything wrong until I decided to put my computer on Stand By. When I went to Start and Turn Off Computer and clicked on Stand By, my computer just hung with the hour glass on my screen for almost 10 minutes before the dialog box came up for me to make a choice.

I restored my system to the day before I did this and it still takes forever for my dialog box to come up so I can Shut Down or go to Stand By. What can I do? I don't want to have to wait for this to come up. I even restored my system to two days before this happened and I still have this problem.
