Forgot to mention one simple thing Miguel K!

It sounds right to me ... hard to say since I only work on Dells every so often .... but what I would say really caused this is a bad CMOS Battery. Your BIOS reset because there's no juice in the CMOS battery to remember the BIOS settings; The easiest way to tell if your CMOS battery is dieing is that your time and date in your BIOS and/or your time and date settings in your OS (Operating System) aren't correct (Also BIOS setting maybe incorrect as well). It won't do you any good to follow Miguel K. instruction if the BIOS settings keep resetting themselves because of a $3.00 battery.
