I am experiencing the exact same issue, I've called Sprint's technical support and he told me that this issue was never reported to them, I think we have to make sure that as many people report it maybe they will do something about it, Its terribly annoying.

I know that your post concerned a 2005 Lexus (and mine being a 2004), but did you learn anything, and, if so, what. I too am having a problem and need some help.

i have a cingular treo 650. i have loaded all the updates. to get the phone to pair merely go through the process and when the phone acknowledges pairing (even though the nav screen is still waiting) place an outgoing call from the phone that will pair the phone.

the problem i have is you get one call then the connection drops. ocassionally it reconnects. you only get a connection if you have installed the car kit update.

basically it is worthless with the ls430. works fine with our accura. a cingular dealer says lexus has a fix. i will be calling them to find out.

So far, the only information that I can come up with is as follows:

In other words, there does not appear, from those sites, that there is much that we can do at this time. I would appreciate your posting any help that you discover.

I have been trying diligently since October when I received my 2005 LS430,and havde been unable to nuse bluetooth with the Treo 650. If you could send me detailed instructions made simple I would be forever grateful. Thanks

I can't get my 2006 Lexus GS to pair to a Treo 650.

How did you do it. I would be gald to get it to work period!

There is a fix that i have discovered to pair the treo650 to any lexus model with bluetooth. You need to go into the info screen, then the telephone screen, then go all the way to the bottom of the menu into the settings screen. From this point you need to extend the passkey to six digits instead of four digits. the only carrier that i have found to support the phone book transfer is sprint. Cingular will not support the phone book transfer into the lexus. The way to load your entire phone book is to go to send catagory from the drop down menu in contacts screen. I hope this helps all that are having trouble.

I like others can't get the Sprint Treo 650 to bluetooth synch to my SC 430. What should I do?

I note you were succsessful in pairing Treo 650 with LS 430. Could you be kind enough to tell me how to do this.I am not technical minded but sure would love to use bluetooth with my Treo.I dont care about call waiting.
