Need help please RE: voice recognition

I own a samsung sch-m828c cell phone android 2.2.2 -
Whenever I try to use the voice input instead of entering manual text (speaking very clearly)... it comes out in pure gibberish. I want to be able to write a text (or email) just by saying it. Nothing fancy. Anyone know how to fix this or any good apps for this for this?

Still gibberish half the time. It's good at simple words like yes and no but for now, this is something you should avoid.

Did you try speech recognition on the iPad yet? Try it. Here it was pretty good.

voice recognition

I have use this phone and other droids, talk slower and use plain sentences. I have to teach it the words i used that wasn't every day words you would use.
