Hello there,

I'm a student and want to buy a smartphone within 10,000/-(max 12,000/-).
i'm an IT student, yet looking for suggestion before investing a big amount as a student which i earned as a part time job(friendly in nature). Looking to USE the cell for @least 4-5 years with least trouble..

My Requirements:-
OS :- Androids or Windows.(BEST available)
RAM :- 512MB, MEMORY :- EXPANDABLE,
SIM :- DUAL SIM(GSM,GSM)
screen:- HIGH/GOOD QUALITY,
SOUND- good quality,
CAM - SECONDARY & PRIMARY, FLASH,
BATTERY :- GOOD BACKUP,
OTHER FEATURES - BLUETOOTH, WIFI, QWERTY SUPPORT,
COMPANY :- NOKIA, SAMSUNG, MICROMAX, SONY, XPERIA, LG

Please, give the best tip, and the best suggestions....

Regarding dual SIM

Keep in mind that 99% of those handsets have poor support post-purchase. Stick to single SIM if possible.

Also, 10,000 in which currency? Rupees? Pesos? Euro? (LOL)

The average life span of any cell phone is only 2-3 years. Yes, it is possible to have a phone 4-5 years but not likely.

I meant that the cell phone / smart phone which i buy should be working without any problem for that 4 yrs....
and pardon me, its maximum 4 years...

and also, i don't want to go to a service center for a repair for that 2-3 years as per your suggestions...

The only old phones I see are simple things. Usually they are the simple "phone" phones with maybe a new battery after a few years. Not one maker today gives much past a year warranty.

This is the personal choice but the functions and features wise the android is the best phone who provide the complete and easy way of usage to the users.

In what way is Windows Phone 8 incomplete? I didn't read anything about incompleteness in the reviews of the new Nokia Lumia's, for example.

In what way is Windows Phone 8 difficult to use?
