Write Protect on Cell Phone

I have a Samsung Flight II cell phone. I download old time radio shows such as Dragnet, Tales of the Texas Rangers and the Six Shooter with Jimmy Stewart. Once I listen to these shows I delete them from my cell making room for others.

Recently I downloaded the Lone Ranger but cannot delete them. When I try it reads Write Protect. I have attempted to delete them using the connection to my computer but it still will not work. I tried renaming the file but it still will not delete.

The other radio shows that I listed allow me to delete them after use but not this Lone Ranger series. Can someone tell me, in layman's terms, what I am doing wrong?

Are these on a memory card?

If so, try a new memory card. It's a common failure and I've run into folk that want a Dr. Quincy forensics investigation. I don't mind but it's too costly so we try another card.
