I am switching to verizon

I am switching to Verizon and I am wondering whether I should get the Samsung Galaxy Nexus or the Galaxy S3. So i was wondering if you guys could help me out here i really want the Galaxy Nexus because it is stock android and i just love Samsung products I think they are the best but it is older ,but i really want Galaxy S3 because it is Samsung and it is the newest and greatest Samsung phone. I also heard a rumor from a phone youtuber that the Galaxy S4 might be coming out in April should i hold off till then?

Figure 6 months to a model then it changes. That being said will you ask the same question when the S4 is out and the S5 will be out soon?

My answer is my own. I wait if I can. Then I might wait more.

Wish I could edit my post but I can't so here are my changes:

1. As I said, the Galaxy S3 is big (4.8" display) but the Galaxy Nexus is also big (4.7"). Too close to call.

2. The Galaxy S3 is rated by Consumer Reports (Jan 2013 issue, page 38) as a 77 in the Verizon section vs a 72 for the Galaxy Nexus. Too close to call.

3. CR has a price (w/ 2yr contract) of $200 for the 16GB version of the S3 (I paid about $150) vs $50 for the Nexus.

4. CR says the S3 has a memory card slot and the Nexus does not (features section).

Since I never used a Galaxy Nexus I have no other basis for comparison.

I have the Nexus 7 with no memory slot and am not running into any issue that I need more storage. I put dropbox on it and can get files on/off the tablet as needed without much to do.

However you will find folk that want to carry their 1TB video collection with them and there's not much you can offer them. Or their entire MP3 collection or let's keep it simple. "The collection."

If you need the slot, then you would never list a device that didn't have it. This greatly simplifies the decision process.

Bought the Samsung Galaxy S3 about 10 days ago and no regrets.

The S3 is big in size - maybe too big for some. Go to the phone store and try it out in your pocket to see if you can live with the size. I wouldn't want it any bigger.
