Can anyone recommend a good, trustworthy website where I can send my son's HTC One X for a full screen replacement? (the phone still works properly but the screen is completely cracked). I have already contacted both HTC and our carrier (AT&T) regarding this matter but HTC's quote was astronomical ($220) and AT&T could not assist us. This is a brand new phone which we just received as an upgrade so the phone itself only cost $49 (and sadly, yes, I failed to get insurance on the phone prior to purchasing it). I don't mind paying a reasonable price to replace the screen but I certainly don't want to get ripped off or, worse yet, pay for some unscrupulous website to either not fix it properly and/or never get the phone back. Prior to coming here (which I really should have done in the first place) I did some online research and found two websites so far: cleanplanetrepair.com and doctorquickfix.com. The BBB rated the first website better than the second one but neither is affiliated with them....and searching for some type of customer reviews about both sites came up short as well, so I am desperate for any advice/assistance anyone can give me. Thanks so much.
