Can I use a 32GB microSDHC card in Galaxy Proclaim SCH-S720C

I just bought a StraightTalk Samsung Galaxy Proclaim. It comes with a 2GB microSD card and says it can be upgraded. The article I referenced in CNET also said it could be upgraded to 32GB. When I went to buy the bigger card, they are all SDHC cards (which are not forwardly interchangeable).They all say they work with the Galaxy Proclaim but they have a disclaimer saying they won't guarantee it. And they also say the card is NOT returnable.Even Samsung sells them, but says they won't guarantee they will work with this phone. WTF????

Has anyone actually upgraded and, if so, did it work? Did you use a SanDisk card--and if so, which one?

If the phone says it supports that size, then I go put it in. Those that want a guarantee may have to pause until someone gives them that. In my opinion only a foolish retailer would give such a guarantee since "how would they fix it?" outside of a refund?

...you may need to re-format the micro SD card to use in the new phone. Not required in every case. Let us know.

When I bought my current Droid Razr, I had simply moved the same micro SD card from my Droid X phone without having to re-format the card. Good luck.

I used SanDisk 32GB MicroSDHC Memory Card but i didnt find any problem with this. Any how try to find more information with which it is compatable.

In response...I already looked on the Samsung website and at various battery supplier websites. I googled eveything that alleged to have an answer. I even read both of the manuals (how desperate is that?) The main answer I got was..."maybe."

The basis of the problem is that virtually all the sights say that you cannot replace an SD with an SDHC. They say you can go back --but not forward. If you try to go forward, it's potluck. I simply wanted to know if anyone had actually done it and if it worked for them.

I'm going to buy and try. I will post once I have installed.

I see both SD and SDHC support so for now the ONLY issue I can see is that you want someone to GUARANTEE that your 32GB card will work. That's it.

32GB SDHC cards should be fine and you can swap this with the 2GB card all day long but will anyone GUARANTEE this? I doubt it.
