Unlocked T-mobile LG Optimus T cell cannot connect to PC

I recently unlocked my Optimus T cell phone from T-mobile. I cannot connect it to my laptop via USB anymore. It says the driver is not recognized. I downloaded the driver software, but it still won't recognize it. Does anyone know how I can get the driver software for this phone after it's been unlocked? Or is there just no way of doing it?

That unlock could change the USB "ID" so go back to where you got your unlock method from and ask what driver to use.

So yup, that can happen.
