how do you convert QCP files to WAV or MP3?

these are voicemail messages from my grandaughter over the last seven years (34 of them). I copied them to a smart card and then downloaded them to my computer and copied to a Memorex CD-R (52x 700MB). How do I convert them so I can listen to the messages on my computer? I see there is a free service called media-convert, but I don't understand how to use it. Help! Plain language please!

OK, I got stuck right from the beginning. The instructions for converting a QCP file to a WAV says go to media-convert.com. I went to media-convert.com and according the instructions in the link you gave me, I was to look for the "Local file conversion" tab. I do not see such a tab on the media-convert home page.

Don't convert them, use VLC to play qcp files

FWIW, I believe media convert is a spam site. Use VLC to play back such files. Go here-http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

...try installing the actual Qualcomm purevoice app. Look here:

It was a link to a article from April 2012, so rather recent. But now it seems the site does no longer exist. It redirects to a domain-parking site from google.

Things like that happen.
