Verizon or Sprint? (Huntington Beach, CA)

Hi! My mom and I are switching cell phone providers. We are deciding between Verizon and Sprint, but don't know how to decide. They both come out to about the same price, because we get a discount through work. Verizon makes you choose how much data you need (the employee recommended 2GB for the two of us to share since my mom won't use much), but Sprint has unlimited data. Does anyone have any insight??? We live in Huntington Beach, CA. I've asked friends if they like their service, and people from both companies say that they are satisfied.

My brother roams around HB and both carriers seem fine. Today I think he's back on Verizon because that was the best deal at the time. It was not about service or coverage.

Thanks for your input! I really appreciate it. I keep getting positive feedback for both companies. I always read how Verizon has the best overall coverage, but I'm not sure if that's true or not. It seems like I can't really go wrong either way. happy

I have searched on the Internet and found that both of them have their own advantages. If you don't know which one to choose, you can choose Verizon, while your mom can choose Sprint, which sounds interesting. Hope this can help you.
