Cell phones forum: Choosing a phone

First of all thanks for your answer. Well... Actually that's my dilema. You just made my point. I still can't decide exactly what I need. I know it looks pretty absurd asking something without knowing your own expectations, but maybe that's the true question - what's more important in your opinion. I really appreciate the capabilities of the Sony. Really good display, dual core and up to date. The only week point I can find is the battery, a common issue among the touch phones. On the other hand the Nokia. I don't know how confortable is writing on the Sony's screen but I think that probably the Nokia wins in that aspect. Also the battery and I don't know about the build quality of the Sony, but Nokia excells in that. The point is that I don't want to have the situation in which right now are for example the users of the WM 6.5 (which was pretty popular) and who are left without for example Whatsaap support. But well it's a Nokia.
Sorry for bothering here with this kind of... well... silly dilema. But I simply can't decide. But I perfectly uderstand that it only depends on what I am expecting.

It could be the circles I run in but folk will text/tweet but that's easy enough on the Sony Android.

On top of that if some app dies the Nokia may have trouble updating (not sure what OS there is there and we know it's new owner is not going to let them work on it.)

So in my opinion, get the Android.

Android on a newer handset than what you have now will seem light years ahead IME.

Don't focus solely on the (new) hardware part of the equation but also on the software/OS that you will be switching to. That's where the rubber hits the road.
