Phone not recognizing password

I bought a Samsung Galaxy Note N-7000 from Hong Kong in December Within 2 hours of unlocking my phone this morning to read an SMS it now will not recognize my password numbers for unlocking. After O.K. a message is constantly coming up "Sorry try again." I have taken out Sim and battery, put in and started again, nothing is working. I have a lot of info in a BOX, ISILO & MY FILE app which I need to use. HELP!!!

Have you back up your data to your PC? I'm afraid that your phone need to restore factory settings.
