So I am purchasing my first smartphone soon and I was hoping for some advice. I prefer Android and I have been looking mostly at Samsungs and HTCs, especially the new Galaxy Nexus and S II.
I need an unlocked phone because I live part time out of the country. I am willing to spend money on a phone, but it has to be worth it and last me a while.
I am not the hugest technophile, I don't necessarily need the best, most up to date specs, but I do want something that can last me a while. I would like something with a decent camera and good music playing tech.
Is it hard to get pay as you go data plans in the US? I cannot get locked into a contract again because I never know when I might need to leave the country on a more permanent basis, and I don't want to pay any 300, 400, 500 dollar fees.
Thanks for the advice!
