lg thrive, e-mailed text message

Cannot receive e-mailed text messages to this phone. The e-mail address is the 10 digit phone number@txt.att.net

Have tried this over and over, messages never arrive and in the mail program the messages are not returned or bounced

Any help will be appreciated-thank you

I'd try this from a GMAIL or Yahoo email account.

Just one last idea. Keep the message short such as a text message must be.
