How can I fix my KIN?

So, I own the KIN Twom. Which I bought about 11 months ago. I recently dropped it (on Tuesday) and now the screen is messed up. It is completely black, while the phone itself and the screen backlight are working just fine. Really, I can still call someone even when the screen is completely blacked out. So, do you think it may be possible to get it repaired or that I can repair it myself?

...even if you get the correct parts, there's still a chance that something inside is broken and cannot be repaired, outside of the LCD screen portion you just spent money on replacing.

In this sense, unless you are comfortable replacing such electronic items, you might plan on replacing the phone.
