Nokia 808 PureView or a good Camera?

The Nokia has announced a huge amazing smartphone,Nokia 808 PureView, which has a 41 megapixel camera, runs Symbian OS, so will the suprise feature 41 megapixel camera attract you to buy? or do you still just want to get a camera?

And for me, the mind on which should I buy seems is wavering.

41 mp doesn't matter

As a photographer I can tell you that the fact it has 41 megapixels is really irrelevant. All it will give you really are boasting rights.

It's the lens that sees the image and if it's the equivalent of the bottom of a milk bottle you'll get 41mp of rubbish...if its not you'll have the ability to take pictures that are large enough to print and out on the side of a bus....and if you need them that big you'll probably want to take them with a 'proper' camera.

Ya its right.
The 41 megapixels camera is attracting us cos of the pictures taken by it seems so real that it feels that you are watching the picture from near by.
Its really amazing.
You can fulfill your both desire of phone and camera with in the single device The Nokia Lumia 808 Pure View.

More megapixels....

I have a 5.1 megapixel dedicated camera with optical zoom that outperforms the quality of my Droid Razr with 8 megapixels with digital zoom. It's all smoke and mirrors when it comes to bragging rights over megapixels. A cell phone does not have the lens quality of a dedicated camera and is priced accordingly. To put a decent camera lens on a cell phone would contribute $100 or more to the phone price.
