Cell phones forum: cellhut and other sites

i am newbie to this online shopping mechanism .. will you please explain it little for me as how cell hut is able to reduce prices by such amount ..

the reason i am using the middleman is .... there is no middle man actually. . he is my uncle .. and he will do this for me without any commission thing .. lol
i live in pakistan .. my uncle live in usa .. he can purchase cell phone and bring it for me when he will visit pakistan .. simple as that .


i want to ask one more thing .. if my uncle bring me mobile this way . .will he be subject to custom duty ??

I offered one example where a subsidized phone can be had for no cost if you sign up for the usual contract.

Enter the middlemen. If they can collect a little more they can pull the wool over your eyes by claiming the phone is some many hundred dollars bought elsewhere.

It appears they have sold you already and maybe that's fine. Here I know to keep shopping.

Since your question wasn't really answered, the truth is nobody sells a cellular device for free without a contract (or a really big catch). I agree that I would avoid CellHut at all costs. Remember the old saying: "If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is".

It truly depends on what you are looking for, and what deal is good to your financial situation.
For unlocked handsets, I would look at Amazon.com. Just make sure you buy a GSM/UMTS phone with the correct frequency bands for Pakistan. The more feature driven latest touch screen models will not be cheap, however. Some of my Pakistani/Indian friends typically re-gift their off contract older phones still in good condition since $500-600 for an unlocked handset is usually out of the budget. YMMV.
Amazon has all sorts of other electronics too.
