Cell phones forum: Chase Quick Deposit not showing up on Chase Android App

Thanks for the reply, but actually I've already tried that:

"Log into chase, menu>deposits>take picture"

It's just not there for some reason.

I have tried accessing the quick deposit feature on multiple occasions so why that may be a possibility of why it's not working, I doubt it because I have tried solid the past few weeks. So frustating, lol

I'm a business owner and could really use this feature.

Ya I contacted Chase yesterday; sent me to a supervisor who went over some basic instructions he was reading off a script.

ex. After i told him I had the app installed and was already logged in, he told me I need to go to the android market and download and install the chase mobile app.....lol obviously they don't have tech support at chase for the app.

After the basic troubleshooting he said I need to call the manufacturer of my phone....Motorola...i don't see why Motorola could or would help me with a chase app...it's not there responsibility.

That's another piece of information I missed in your first post.

Try asking if anyone has seen it work.

All the root, clocked and all that moves you further away from being supportable.

Let me tip my hand here. I'm working on porting our apps to droid and we already added a disclaimer about modified phones since we can't afford to troubleshoot such things. Well we could but the person with the issue might expect us to fix the app for their rooted, clocked phone if they paid us. We could accept the payment but couldn't guarantee we could fix it.

What are we doing about this? We are giving a list of phones we tested on.

Same thing been happening to me, have a Droid 2, the deposit option is just not showing up when I login, Just accounts and pay bills. Did you have any luck figuring it out?

I recently downloaded an app called "Android System Info" and went to the "system" tab then tapped the camera selection to get camera information. It says "No camera available or error while accessing camera".

I can confirm i have tried this on the same phone rooted and non-rooted and still says the same thing.

This is interesting because maybe the Chase app is trying to access the camera in the same way. It doesn't find it so therefore it may disable to the option for quick deposit?? Thoughts anyone??

I had to hit the menu key on my phone after i logged into my account (I have a G2X Phone)

For me, the "Deposits" button was not showing up when I hit the menu key. To fix it, I had to call into their support line, and they told me that my account was not properly set up for some reason. They basically deleted and re-made my online account. I ended up losing a bit of info, like my bill payment payees, but it looks smooth otherwise (my account nicknames and pending credit card payment stayed, for example).

After that, now it works fine.

Not sure what the exact cause was, but I had an account as a minor, and my bank accounts had been around since the WaMu days, so there were plenty of opportunities for things to get messed up.
