Cell Phone Use in car With Microsoft Sync

We bought a Ford Fusion with Microsoft Sync hands free cell phone use in the car but my cell phone is old and won't download my phone book. When I look for a cell phone no one can tell me if it will do this. I have been looking at the Samsung Intensity but don't want to buy it if it won't download my phone book. Any help? I just need a simple cell phone, not all the bells and whistles. I have a Verizon LG8100

I bought a 2010 Ford with Microsoft Sync and found that Samsung phones do not syncronize with the system. I tried 3 or 4 different phones and finally settled on the LG. You can try the phone and ask Verison to see if it will sync then if it does not you can take it back. You have 30 days to return the phone.
