HTC Touch Pro2, worth it?

I'm just wondering, should I buy it? What would the positive thing about buying it, negative? My carrier is T-Mobile. Should I instead get an iPhone?

Which OS/platform do you prefer? That's a better question. Both devices are capable, but if you unlocked an iPhone for use on T-Mo's network, you would lose 3G since it lacks the appropriate frequency bands. There's a bit more flexibility in the WinMo devices as they can be flashed and tweaked to your heart's content, practically. But the browsing experience on the iPhone is almost unrivaled, with a few exceptions since there's no flash support yet on the iPhone. Also, since the TP2 is new, you would pay more than you would for the refurb iPhones (for example).

I have had my touch pro2 for about a week now and it is better than I expected. My friend has had an iphone for quite awhile now and another guy I knopw has a palm pre. The touch pro2 is way better than either phone as far as I am concerned. The keyboard is the best I have ever seen on any phone. I text alot so Im lovin it.

pretty good processor and pretty much all the conectivity u need but im not sure if u like windows mobile 6.1 pro. average camera(3.15 mp) and resitive touch screen (ones with plastic between u and screen)
but som ppl prefer resitive because it cam be used wit stylus

megapixels don't matter much past a certain point

Certainly not on a mobile phone it's not an issue once you start getting to the 3.2 megapixel range as the lens/sensor size are the stop gaps, not the megapixel count. There's absolutely nothing wrong with a resistive screen either as long as the software/hardware is tweaked correctly.
