need help with selecting a new phone from AT&T

I am an AT&T customer and currently am using a razor with unlimited data/internet use. I need a new phone and am very confused after talking to multiple sales reps. I use a PC card in my laptop, so I don't really need services such as the I-phone have since I can fire up the laptop no matter where I am at. I would like to be able to sync my contacts with my laptop wether it is throught Outlook or a seperate program like I am using for my Razor. I want to be able to setup contacts on my PC and selectively add and remove them from my phone as needed. I also would like to have a touch screen instead of buttons. I text about twice a month, so I really don't need a great keyboard like the Tilt has. I would like to have voice dialing. The most important part I think is to have the biggest screen in the smallest package possible. I use the weather channel sites for radar daily ( I own a construction company )and like the bigger screen so you can really see the radar well. I will also check my email on a regular basis when I am not on the phone, but will respond using my laptop.
I have been told I need the LG VU, The Tilt, or the I-phone. I liked the looks of all three, but the I-phone is to much money. The tilt requires a $30 fee for data above the monthly service. The VU I was told has no way to sync up to my PC to handle contacts. If anybody knows of a software program I can use with the VU I think that is the phone I want, but I am searching for opinions on what everybody else thinks is best.
