Cell phones forum: My AT&T 8525 has problems lately. Need help! Virus maybe?

Hi I'm new to these forums and I created an account specifically for this confusing problem. I have the AT&T 8525 running Windows Mobile 6.0. I've had it for a year now with no real problems. But lately the phone has been acting up. Several things have happened:

1. My phone does not get signal anywhere, and I mean ANYWHERE!
2. I can't even access the phone part of my cell phone (when i click on it nothing happens)
3. I can't view my contacts. When I click contacts it shows me the first two people then freezes.
4. During the start up screen my phone shows these letters (don't know what they mean). Usually they all have some number following them (i.e. 3.62) but two of the letters now have 'NONE' next to them.

This is what the start up looks like looks like:

M 05 R NONE
S 04 G NONE
B 06 D 3.62

So does my phone have a virus? Does my SIM card have a virus? I think my phone might have suffered a little water damage from rain drops but I've exposed it to rain before and nothing like this happened. Also I have some freeware installed and I've used Internet Explorer Mobile to visit many websites. So what's going on? Thanks for the help.
