The Motorola MING runs on the Intel PXA270 processor. 8MBs of internal memory is a little too limited for my tastes but an expansion slot is available for the user, even though it may be buried under the battery.
There were a few nice touches to the phone. The business card reader is one, and if you get the hang of making it read the card properly, then it would be a great tool to have in a mobile phone. The voice functions were great and so was the length of recording time available to the video function.
On the minus side, except for the fancy transparent flip and rubberised feel of the casing, there was little to differentiate this device from preceding models. In other words, it is getting a little boring to keep looking at the same old devices with just a few tweaks.
