Treo battery issue

My Treo 600 has been a great PDA and was a wonderful phone and web browser until it started telling me that I had No Service when I was showing several bars of signal strength. At this point the phone is nearly useless ... I was told by Sprint that this is a known issue. Of course they never bothered to tell me this while it was still in warranty (and I had it in for this problem before the warranty expired).

Does the Treo 650 have this problem???

Most batteries degrade or fail as time goes on. The accepted numbers are about 500 charges or 18 months for most of these batteries.

It's no secret you need to replace a battery once in awhile.
