help with 2000 jeep grand cherokee laredo

I have a 2000 jeep grand cherokee laredo that i need some advice with...i just got it a couple weeks ago and i did not get the little unlock and lock remote that it should have and i was locking and unlocking the doors with just the key..how ever when i would unlock the door and open it the alarm would go off but it would stop if i started the car or unlocked the door again..i did notice that if i would unlock the door and wait for the inside lights to come on then the alarm would not go off..well yesterday i went to get in and i unlocked the door and the light did not come on so i locked and unlocked the door multiple times waiting for the light to come on and it never did so i just opend the door and the alarm did not go off so i got in to leave and i noticed the indoor lights would not shut off even after putting the switch it the off position..then i noticed that the windows on all doors do not work..my sunroof works just the door windows do not work..also my lock and unlock button on the drivers door does not work..the passanger door lock and unlock button works but will lock and unlock all doors except the drivers door..i am at a loss of what could have happend..any ideas???

your jeep has two computers. one under the hood behind the coolant container on the passenger side firewall. this is strictly for emissions, electrical path sensors outside the vehicle, and your transmission info basically. the second one is under your passenger seat. it could even be under the back seat in some cases. Anyways, that is where all your fuses for your door locks and windows, amongst under things are located. these are not the same fuses under the hood or dashboard. also, inside each door panel is a motor device that controls your locks. sometimes they can stick in a position that is not good. or, they can go bad. unhook the bad one or replace it. check your fuses first.
