Grand Cherokee Limited '96 "Loosing power"

My GC starts and runs OK, but suddenly goes off... what could be??? The ignition coil loosing power or not receiving enough power from the PCM,the auto shutdown relay isn't working properly???? Please help me out, this is driving me crazy... TXS in advanced

i have the same problem on a 96 Grand Cherokee Laredo

I had Autozone test my 96 GC Laredo with a diagnostic tool. (They do it for free.) It indicated a faulty camshaft position sensor. But, when he looked up camshaft position sensor for a 96 GC on his computer, it said there was no such sensor on a 96 GC. Anybody have any ideas what the diagnostic tool is referring to and where to find it in the engine compartment? Thanks in advance.
