1999 Cherokee 4.0 hesitates only when turning right

I have had this problem for about 4-5 months. Engine starts well, but hesitate even to the point that the engine will kill when making right turns. Could be only a slight turn or even a steering correction but it can be felt. Sometimes in town when slowed to make a right turn it kills. Sometimes the check engine light is on, sometimes not. I installed an new MAP sensor as the local mechanic said that's what the diagnostics said. He also ran valve cleaner through it as Chrysler says this is a chronic problem. It's a great older Jeep, I just can't figure out this thing. As long as I can get where I'm going with left turns I'm good!

Wild guess... I assume it has power steering.

The power steering rack requires the pump to supply pressure when you turn your steering wheel. Perhaps the rack worn and requires too much pressure from the pump? Or perhaps the pump is worn and is simply bogging down the engine when turning? Also, there is a supposed to be a switch on the steering rack that tells the engine to use a bit more gas when you turn the wheel so it doesn't stall... perhaps the switch is bad?

I'm really guessing though. It could be engine related. Just seems odd it only stalls when turning, and only when turning right. Makes me think it's steering related.

99 jeep Cherokee

My jeep has a hessatation only when I right and I'm going above 35 any one can help me would be great I have tried new plugs n wires n fuel cleaner
