I have read with interest the different anti-virus programs people use to protect their investment. As the old saying goes, I guess these things are a "dime a dozen" to pick from.
I am mac user since 1985, however, I don't criticize those who do not share my same interest in the Apple world. My computer of choice is the iMac G5 with 1.8 ghz of ram.
I have the Norton anti-virus program running almost 24/7 because I usually leave my computer on so it can perform its internal maintanence when I am sleeping.
There have been several times when I was downloading some of interest to me off the internet when Norton would intercept and tell me that a Trogan Horse has tried get past my firewal of protection. It automacally puts this "thing" in a place where it cannot hurt my system or anything else that I value in my computer.
I believe that someday these hackers will start with ernest to invade the Mac world. Whether it be the PC or the Mac computer, what is so important is to find the right program that not only suits your computing style, but is very effective in protecting your files, etc.
