What is the biggest threat to safe driving?
Bad drivers are people who do not pay attention to what's around them (other drivers, pedestrians, etc.)or the environment around them (road conditions, physical layout, geography of road, etc.). They also fail to use basic driving courtesy and do not obey some of the least punishable traffioc laws, such as signalling before making lane changes or turning, and practice unsafe driving habits, like passing in no passing zones, driving too fast, driving too slow, etc. You see these types of drivers all the time and they either cause and accident they are involved in or cause accidents they are not involved in (rear end collisions, side swipes, etc.). I think these types of behaviors should be punishable as often and at least as severe as speeding because these are the types of things that can lead to road rage and accidents that involve innocent people. They are also much more common and seem to be happening more and more.
