Lost my genuine Photoshop CS5 serial number.How to retrieve?

Hello. Please excuse me if this is not the proper section of this forum in which I can post my question related to Photoshop.
I have managed to loose the serial number for my Photoshop CS5 and I need to re-install the program now. After contacting my local local dealer from which I have bought the program, I have been advised to get in touch with Adobe. However, I know that there are easier methods through which the key can be found. I have found a site which provides cd key searching tools, but they don't have any guide for Photoshop.
Do you have any suggestions?

When we registered our copy we can call in to get the key. It was easy and not a problem for Adobe.

in Help > About XXX where XXX is the software I am using.

If that fails I might try Belarc Advisor.
