Help Please - Photo Recognition Software

Hi all,

I have just finished scanning over 2000 Family pictures into my Windows XP Professional computer.

I know that 20% of these are duplicates. Is there a program that will scan the pictures in a directory and identify possible duplicates? I cannot search on file name because the scanner assigned sequential file names during the scan process.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If I wasn't so lazy I would have found this without bothering folks. A google search turned up a wonderful "FREE" Program that solved my problem.

If interested download Awsome Duplicate Photo Finder. It scans a selected folder, runs a compare algorythm and displays the photos it believes are duplicate. You can delete either file or pass to the next.

Learning curve was about a nano-second and the results appear accurate. And, did I mention - "IT'S FREE?"
