How is Cartoons movies created?

I will like to learn how to create cartoons.I got several stories i have written of which i love to make cartoon of it.I mean cartoon movies.What will be the recipes i need.

Help will be appreciated.

Your question is too broad to give any specific advice, but in general think "Timeline".

If you were going to use paper and pen/pencil/crayons, then you would draw each individual frame on a separate sheet of paper, then film each sheet in sequence and run the film so that it shows the movement.

To do that on a computer you need specialised software. The one that comes to mind immediately is Adobe's Shockwave, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adobe_Shockwave

Hello mightyvalery,

It sounds like you have some good story lines in mind for some cartoons.Some of the most relevant software that helps produce pictures and films,like Shrek or Toy Story have been made using high end software like Maya or 3D Max.These programs cost anywhere from $500 to about $5000 and sometimes more.These programs are costly and out of reach for most people.There is a solution to this problem though,you can take a look in my profile for more relevant information on your recipe solution or visit http://www.rpgmakerdownload.com when you have time.

Animation.

You need to get awrae about the animation, then you would be able to understant the entire procedure more properly. Good luck...
