Digital Backround Software.

I have seen ads for the background software and just wondered if it actually works.
If so which is the best?
My neighbor who retired from the photo business gave me his whole lighting setup, umbrellas, lights,stands heads the complete setup.
I want to take some formal type pictures of family and friends, but my house doesn't have enough wall space that doesn't have something hanging on it. So I need a background to cover whatever is hanging there. The rest of my family is in the same situation.
I have looked at the muslin and paper backgrounds, but they are all more than I want to spend for no more than I will be using it.

Green screen

Just off the top of my head I think you're looking for something like Green Screen. There is Green Screen software available, but how much or how good I don't know.

See if that gives you an idea to work with and research.

The green screen is what I was looking for.
For the 10'x12' green screen muslin and the software to make it work was less than $90.00.
There is actually some freeware out there, but I didn't go that route.

Digital background software - green screen software

You could try out Chroma Photo Pro - green screen software for photos at http://www.chromashop.com .
It has a very easy to use interface and is intended for beginners.
