Why dont you guys make the forum the same as TV.com, MP3.com and GameSpot because they are a lot easier to use. Why did you decide to use this style?

Well Adam, perhaps you joined CNet a little late. In November/December 2002, the Manager/Administrator gave everyone a chance to preview and use the GameSpot forum system and make suggestions. About 3-4 people including myself & Glenda did actually log into GameSpot and try out the system. Seems like hardly anyone was interested in what type of system the forums used, as what was being used at the time was a system that was mostly down and in need of tremendous upgrade. Management decided to go with this 'Jive' system since there seemed at the time to be a careless attitude by members in trying out the GameSpot system.
