Audio CD's Burn Successfully But There's No Sound

When I burn CD's, everything appears to go well. When complete, I can view the disc and verify that the audio tracks are there, and when I insert them in either my PC's CD-R drive or on my Sony boombox, they're clearly recognized as audio discs (track number appears, time countdown begins, etc.). However, there's no sound! Anyone have an explanation for what's happening? Thanks!

OS: Windows 2000
Burning Software: RealPlayer 10.5

Make an audioCD. Then duplicate what they do. Sorry I won't test if Real's auidoCD has an issue. I use CDBURNERXP and it seems to work (and I use that on Windows 2000.)

icons which represent the tracks rather than the actual tracks. Sorry, but the TOS does not allow me to tell you what can be done in that case.

I also know nothing about Real's software.

Copying Legal .wma Files...

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I'm actually attempting to burn .wma files that I purchased from an online music service.

Some subscription services do that to protect the content. Here's why. Once you make an AudioCD you might rip it to unprotected MP3 content (this statement is a copy from a CNET article so I'm not revealing anything the CNET.com hasn't revealed.)

I think we've found the problem. It's called DRM.

You are trying to burn them as a regular audio cd?

Approx 74 minutes of music per cd? RealPlayer does allow this. You won't be able to burn them directly in compressed format, such as wma or mp3.
