Windows Media Player won't let me burn CDs

I really need some help. I have downloaded 16 songs (62 minutes) onto my computer and copied them to my burn list in Windows media player. When I click "Start burn" a small red "x" appears and the first song's status changes to "Inspecting". It won't change from that unless I click on the box, after which it goes back to "Ready to burn".

I have Windows XP and Windows Media Player 10

I've done everything troubleshooting told me to. Can someone PLEASE help me to resolve this problem? I need to burn 350 CDs for a wedding!!!

Sorry, I found WMP to be too unreliable and I find that fixing WMP is too time consuming. I don't use WMP.

However CDBURNERXP from http://www.download.com works fine for what AudioCDs I do want to make.

i ripped a cd into the computer but when i tried to copy it to a blank it said an error has occured why is it doing it my email address is rbncmp@aol.com

try playing the song first than put in in the burn list it works for me i hopes this helps
