There's apossibility that there's a malfunction in your drive. Or it may just be the CD-R discs you're using. Have you tried a different brand or dye type?

The wave files are public domain and not DRM at all. What can be the problem as the burner works fine on CDRW and until a few days ago was burning CDR'S perfectly.

Jane: I'm not sure how a wav file can become corrupt.
I've burned thousands of .wav files to cdr's over the years and never have had any similar problem.

Did you try playing the supposed corrupt files on the computer and if so, what was the result?
If the comp. can play the file, you should be able to burn it to cd.
I would suspect a problem with burning software, rather than the actual file.

I've found roxio to be unreliable for burning.
I switched to Nero several years ago, and seldom have a problem. When I do, it's usually something that I caused.
I won't have anything "Real" on my machine. Too much baggage.
