Samsung smart hub

We have recently bought a Samsung series 6 led tv and have been trying to set up our smart hub and all the apps so far we have had no luck with this.
We go to use our Samsung apps but it keeps saying we are not connected, we then go to check our network settings and it is all connected. Any idea what we can do to fix this?
