Any Alternate to Wi-Lan module dongle for Panasonic tv?

First i must say CNET has been very helpful whenever i need to purchase electronics, kudos to them. ever opportunity i get i promote CNET.
My questions is are there an alternate to the WI-Lan module dongle for Panasonic TV (TC-L42E50). the recommended part is TY-WL20 but is a little expensive for me. The TV is not close enough to use a wired connection.
Someone please help! I have had good luck on this forum so far. Thanks in advance.

I believe you can read through the user reviews @ Amazon for this particular model, or a sister model, to learn about which ones have worked besides the pricey Panny dongle. Sorry I don't recall the exact make/model, but it was something that was priced between $20-30, if I am remembering the discussion accurately. Will check when I have time later if you don't find one...

The other option would be to utilize a second wireless router (if you have one laying around), and configure it to function as a wireless bridge. You would connect an ethernet cable from the HDTV to this wireless bridge, which connects to your wireless network.

Wireless Ethernet Bridge/Adapter

You would have much better luck making use of the ethernet port on the TV and not the USB port for an alternate connection. Just Google "wireless ethernet adapter" or "wireless ethernet bridge" to find a good variety.

I use a Trendnet model that works very well, but I've seen others from IOGear and Belkin that get good reviews.
