Sound bar aux not working

samsung air track sound bar hw-e450 works just fine in bluetooth mode but the aux doesnt work, i have it correctly connected to a 60hz 1080p 40' emerson hdtv. it used to work but now it only plays sound when in 3d low/high mode, and when in that mode the volume doesnt change no matter how high or low i set it. What could be the problem?
