How to connect more than 1 pair of speakers for zone 2

I am planning to buy pioneer sc61 or marantz 5007. for home theater in the basement for a 7.2 setup. but want to have more speakers in the basement (open basement plan) as zone 2. can I connect more than 2 speakers for this setup . the manufacturer manual did not help to answer this

Another problem before you even get there

If you look in the Marantz manual, zone 2 is limited to analog sources only. (See the NOTE on p.98.) So in other words, you would not be able to play back anything via HDMI, digital optical or digital coaxial to the Receiver. There would have to be some sort of digital/analog converter in order to be able to send a digital source out via the zone 2 speakers.

Double check the Pioneer manual for their zone 2 options. It's like to be the same situation.
