Internal Storage for HDTV/Blu Ray Players

I am interested in where HDTV and Blu Ray players (or any internet-ready device) store the personal information (such as username and password) used in the apps that can be downloaded and installed to these devices. Most of these devices require the user to enter their information once and login is automatic from that point forward (ie. Netflix). I am curious as to where this information is stored as I can't find any specific details on this. Thanks in advance to anyone that can shed a little light on this subject for me.
